Clever title huh? This is a drive-by Blogging, as there aren't enough hours in a day this week. I finished my Fair Isle hat this weekend; I even blocked it.
Next up is another Fair Isle hat, this one for Dulaan. I'm working on this little block pattern. I'm going to use the lightest and darkest green from the first hat, and keep it on a black back ground. This should be a little more challenging than the roses. I like this more than I thought I would and this may be the summer of colorwork for me. BLING reserved a book of Latvian knitting patterns for me at the library (Confession: I am the Library Board Chair and I can't remember how to put a book on reserve, so I have my wife do it - I'm lame). I can't wait to see it!
Beautiful work my friend.
And there's something funny about a book of Latvian knitting patterns. Very, oddly specific, you know?

Oh! It's beautiful! Utterly lovely!
Sadly, I'm going to miss you again at the Guild tonight. Must. Clean. House as brother is coming into town tomorrow for short visit. Feh. Someday, someday. Are you going to the Dulaan thing on the 27th? Maybe I can see you there?

No reflection on you, but the new pattern makes me go cross-eyed. Still, like Carry, I'm looking forward to seeing it knit up!
